No matter where you are in your journey I am here to help

As a naturopathic practitioner, I take the time to listen and talk to you about how you’re feeling, how you would like to feel and to investigate what is driving your health issues.

Here's how Alex can help

Clinical Nutrition

Clinical nutrition involves the analysis of your diet and nutrient intake. This helps to determine if you have any nutritional deficiencies, dysfunction or pathology that could be contributing to your current health issue. Throughout your treatment, Alex will recommend evidence-based diets and nutrients (in the form of practitioner-only supplements and functional foods) to optimise the function of all major body systems and as integral support to your overall health. This is especially useful when it comes to supporting treatments for specific conditions, e.g. hormone imbalances, Endometriosis, pregnancy etc.

Laboratory Testing

Laboratory testing is a very effective to find what’s really going on in your body and the fast track to finding the root cause of your health issue. Alex works with your medical professionals, functional and pathology laboratories to request and conduct tests that suit your specific symptom presentation. Common examples of these tests include:

  • Blood tests
  • Stool analysis
  • Breath tests (to check small intestine bacteria)
  • Heavy metals analysis
  • Nutrient tests
  • Hormone salivary panels
  • Methylation profiles
  • Microbiome analysis
  • Allergy/food intolerance tests
  • Toxin assessment (mould, heavy metal analysis, etc)
  • Genetic profiling (Nutrigenomics)

Environmental Medicine

The environments in which you live, work, sleep and even drive can affect the outcomes of your health.

Alex works with her clients to help them create the healthy homes they need in order to thrive. She also regularly refers and works alongside building biologists who are trained to identify and rectify health hazards at home or in your work space. Some of these health hazards include mould & water-damaged buildings, EMFs, allergens, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and other toxicants.

Prescriptions

Practitioner-only natural medicine prescriptions (supplement therapy) can play an imperative part in your healing process. They not only help you feel better quickly but also give the body a kick start by therapizing its function. Alex prescribes you these medicines via her online dispensary Vital.ly . An email is then generated to you so you can login in, register your address and make payment for delivery 1-2 business days later.
